Cozy stay with great food
Really enjoyed my 2 nights here! The room was clean and comfy, and the powerful shower was a nice touch. Breakfast had a good spread, and the bar had tasty snacks. The only thing was the heavy duvet made sleep a bit tough for us. Would totally recommend it for the cozy vibes!

The atmosphere was inviting, underscored by friendly service that made it feel like home. Breakfast offerings were outstanding, with ingredients sourced locally, and the evening meals provided imaginative dishes that were expertly prepared. the room could use some updates to the furnishings, and noise from the pub area occasionally disrupted sleep. While the location offers stunning walks, it was slightly less convenient for transportation links than expected.

A cozy stay with stunning views
I had a delightful stay with beautiful views of the surrounding countryside, perfect for hikes. The breakfast was made with high-quality local ingredients and was truly delicious. The room was comfortable, although a bit small, and dealt with some cold drafts. The open mic night added a lovely touch of entertainment, making the pub atmosphere even more vibrant.

Had a great weekend with friends! We explored the local Dore and Totley Golf Club, perfect for a round or two, and enjoyed the Sunday Quiz Night at a nearby pub. The decor was charming, and the comfortable beds made for a cozy stay. Staff were super friendly and helpful throughout our visit.
The only downside was that our room felt a bit chilly, but the warm bed more than made up for it.

The dining experience at Sir William was a foodie's paradise! That meaty pizza had me raving, and the generous portions really filled me up. Plus, the bar area was warm and inviting, with a range of local ales to quench your thirst after a long hike.
But the first night dinner was a letdown, with reheated leftovers that left me craving something fresher. The room had its quirks too. a cold feel and a shower that played hard to get, but even that was brightened by the staff's charm.
